I have recently retired as a full time teacher after 37 years. For the last 14 years of my teaching career I was Director of Music at an independent preparatory school. I also do some work for the Independent Schools Inspectorate as an Inspector, where we look at all aspects of a school, including compliance with regulations and policies, and making judgements about educational quality including pupils’ achievements and personal development.
I now work privately from home as a piano, singing and music theory teacher as well as involving myself as a volunteer in various educational and welfare projects at my local synagogue. I am married with 3 adult daughters.
