Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Salary New NJC Scale Point 6-7

Fixed Term, term time only, pro-rata (with the possibility of a permanent position)

Required: September 2026 (sooner if possible)

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Level 2 Teaching Assistant with vision and energy to join our warm and friendly school.

You should:

  • Have experience of working with children and providing interventions
  • Be an excellent practitioner with high expectations of all pupils
  • Use personalised learning techniques in order to consistently facilitate accelerated learning
  • Be an innovative team player who is positive and proactive with good interpersonal and behaviour management skills
  • Have experience of working with pupils with behavioural and emotional needs
  • Show an active commitment to your own Continuing Professional Development.

Meal Time Supervisor

We are seeking to appoint a Mealtime Supervisor starting September 2026 (sooner if possible).

Contract – 10 hours per week. 11.30-1.30pm daily.

Main Role and Responsibilities

  • Helping to ensure that the dining room is orderly and lunch is a pleasant experience for all
  • Ensuring the dining hall is clean and tidy for the school’s afternoon activities
  • Co-ordinate play activities for the children once in the playground and during wet playtimes
  • Encouraging good behaviour in the playgrounds and around the school.
